Stofix UK Secures New Contract Award at Southglade Primary School – Nottingham
We are pleased to announce that Stofix UK has been awarded the contract for Southglade Primary School in Nottingham, working with main contractor Bowmer + Kirkland. This project is part of the Department for Education’s ten-year Schools Rebuild Programme, an initiative dedicated to delivering 50 school rebuilds annually—a scheme we are proud to support.
Southglade Primary School is an ‘L – shaped’ primary school building designed to accommodate 420 pupils and will also feature a 52-place nursery accommodating a total of 472 pupils aged 3-11 years.
Modular panels
The two-storey building will feature Stofix brick panels installed throughout the ground floor level. Stofix brick slip panels and backing structure will be delivered to the Innovare factory in Coventry and installed onto their modular wall panels. These completed panels including windows will be delivered and installed on site.
Fedlhaus stretcher bond
With a wide choice of genuine bricks available, the bricks selected by Nottingham-based CPMG Architects are Feldhaus R100 in a stretcher bond. (approx. 430m2 façade).
