Team Insights – Hear from Stofix UK Technical Sales Manager
Paul Simcock, Technical Sales Manager tells us about the support he provides to clients and how the Stofix UK team works closely to support each other.
Tell us about your current role?
I joined Stofix UK in November 2022 and I am Technical Sales Manager. I cover the Midlands, the North and Scotland. My main focus is working closely with our clients carrying out site visits, gaining specifications, building relationships with with contractors and architects. I carry out technical sales presentations, present CPD guidance, seminars and installation training.
Tell us about your previous experience?
I have over 30 years experience in the construction industry starting my career as an architectural technician in Nottingham. I have worked in various sales positions in a joinery business, insulation supplier, steeplejack and lightning conductor business followed by 18 years with Ibstock Brick PLC.
How would you describe the culture within the business?
It’s a very honest company and nice to be recognised as an individual and not just a number. People will help out where possible even if it is outside of their job role. So there really is a network of support throughout the whole business.
What are the advantages of working for Stofix?
Stofix UK continues to grow into a very successful company and I’m really enjoying being an important part of this success story. We are continually developing th Stofix system to ensure we react to customer requirements and stay ahead of our competition.
