New Contract Award: Alperton Bus Garage Redevelopment
We are excited to share that Stofix UK has been awarded a major contract as part of the redevelopment of the iconic Alperton Bus Garage in Wembley. Working alongside main contractor Telford Homes, this transformative project is a key component of the Alperton regeneration masterplan and will help shape a vibrant, mixed-use community in this rapidly evolving area.
A Complex and Ambitious Project
The site comprises three multi-storey residential blocks and a link building, with two of the towers rising to 28 storeys. Stofix products will feature prominently in this project:
- Unitised Installation for Maximum Efficiency
One block will utilise off-site installation, where Stofix brick slip façades are pre-assembled to ensure precision, reduce on-site work, and streamline construction timelines. - On-Site Installation
The remaining blocks and link building will be fully clad with Stofix façades and aluminium panels by the expert team at Caxton Façades.
Enhancing the Alperton Community
Set for completion in 2025, this landmark project will deliver significant benefits, including:
- 461 new homes, with 40% affordable housing
- Retail and community spaces to foster local engagement
- 2,400 sqm of ‘maker spaces’ with a dedicated yard for events and markets
- High-quality landscaping and an ecological corridor to enhance biodiversity and public spaces
