Stofix UK launches new training facility at South Cerney HQ
We were delighted to welcome members of the Bowmer + Kirkland QA team to our brand-new training facility at our South Cerney office. This purpose-built centre forms a key part of our commitment to supporting installers with hands-on, practical training that strengthens knowledge and skills in Stofix brick slip panel installation.
As highlighted in our recent announcement of Tim Gosling’s appointment as Training and Quality Manager, in-depth training and support is essential to ensuring the quality, efficiency and durability of every Stofix brick slip façade installed across the UK.
95% pre-pointed panels
Over two days, the QA Managers took part in an in-depth quality and installation workshop delivered by Lisa McKechnie, Head of Data; Tim Gosling, Training and Quality Manager; and Paul Simcock, Key Accounts Manager. The sessions combined technical presentations with practical demonstrations of our brick slip panels and pointing methods. Our panels are approx. 95% pre-pointed in our factory, so minimal on-site pointing is required.
As our first official training session at the new South Cerney facility, the workshop was an important milestone for Stofix UK. We are pleased to share that the feedback from all participants was extremely positive, with particular recognition for the hands-on approach and the opportunity to deepen understanding of the Stofix brick slip system at a technical level. Our training (which is also delivered on-site) reflects our strategy to demonstrates best practice installation training across the façade industry.
Stofix Approved Installer Card
Each participant was presented with their Stofix Approved Installer card, acknowledging their commitment to achieving and maintaining the highest installation standards. This certification also forms part of our ongoing quality assurance framework, ensuring consistency and excellence across all projects where Stofix systems are installed.
